		<description>Good post-- although the Poem of Niagara is not be Martí-- it&#039;s the &quot;Introduction to the Poem of Niagara&quot; that he wrote!! (Ironic how Martí&#039;s intro is more famous than the poem right now). What is striking about this text is how applicable it is to our present. We tend to think about life 100 years ago as slower and more &quot;human&quot; compared to our accelerated, technological age in which the individual gets lost. But Martí shows us that he felt the way we feel now.</description>
